NANOBUBBLES FOR DAIRY
Boost your dairy pasture yields by up to 30% with nanobubble technology.
Achieve healthier pasture, reduce water use, and increase profitability – without changing your irrigation system.
LIMITED TIME OPPORTUNITY FOR NEW ZEALAND DAIRY FARMERS:
ONE installation remaining available for the 2024-25 NZ irrigation season. Take advantage of this limited time opportunity to access a full installation at a heavily discounted rate; only available for this season. Demonstrated benefits averaging $1200/ha/season in net benefit, with outright purchase as little as $1100/ha and payment spread over two years. Conditions apply, please get in touch to learn more.
KEY BENEFITS
We install our system into a farmer's existing irrigation set-up. This puts ultra high concentrations of oxygen in the farm irrigation water, which is then delivered to crops via mobile dripline (also retrofitted). In dairy, we see the following benefits:
-
Increased Yield: Enhances pasture growth consistently by 20-35% across 11 trial sites over 4 years, translating to more milk production and revenue, particularly beneficial during drier or longer-than-average irrigation seasons.
-
Root Mass and Aerobic Environment: Promotes a bigger, healthier root mass resilient to grazing, with a denser sward and higher tiller numbers. Enhances soil aerobics, supporting beneficial organisms like mycorrhizae and Bacillus for better growth.
-
Increased Water Use Efficiency: 25% average increase in efficiency; trials showing a 16% yield improvement at 50% irrigation deficit, crucial for areas with limited water rights or drought conditions.
-
Resilience to Environmental Stressors: Acts as insurance against inefficient irrigation during hot, windy seasons, ensuring grass recovers quicker from heat stress.
-
Safety and Repair Costs: Mobile dripline systems prevent wheel ruts, enhancing safety and reducing maintenance costs associated with erosion from pivot sprinklers.

Grower goals:
-
Insure Against The Nor'Wester: Henderson Farms has high exposure to the impact of drying Nor’Wester winds. These winds cause:
-
Significant evaporative losses when irrigating
-
Devastating production losses both immediate and longer term; the wind dries out large areas of pasture which can take months to recover, prolonging the negative impact on production.
-
-
Increase Water Use Efficiency: Challenge in drier summers to stretch water limited rights over the full irrigation season
-
Increase Yield: Maximise productivity without additional chemical or labour use.
Outcomes:
-
25-30% increase in dry matter (DM) yield
-
15-20% less water used
-
2-2.5 additional tons of DM per hectare per year
-
Significant cost savings in power associated with reduced water usage
HOW IT WORKS
Nanobubble Agritech systems are uniquely designed to seamlessly integrate with existing irrigation infrastructure, without the need for expensive overhauls or added pumping capacity.
Our Nano i-Series models integrate in line with your current irrigation system, with pivot sprinklers retrofitted with mobile dripline to ensure retention of the oxygen nanobubbles. The Nano i-Series requires between 6-16 psi spare pumping capacity for dairy retrofits.
Systems always include a bypass option, in case you need to revert to normal irrigation for any reason.
By providing a flexible and efficient solution tailor-made for high water flow rates, Nanobubble Agritech systems ensure that growers can quickly adopt this innovative technology with minimal hassle and significant returns.
